Project World Drum [PWD] is the concept of Artist/Percussionist Marcus L. Miller. PWD brings together percussionists and drummers of various nationalities and genres to create a powerful world drum orchestra. The guiding principle behind the group is that through a “Universal Groove” we can find harmony and accord. Musically speaking, this is a microcosm for what Marcus envisions as an unique model to achieve world peace through positive drum vibrations played together in global rhythmic harmony.

Under the direction of artist/percussionist Marcus L. Miller, the group was formed in 2010 and has performed at various festivals throughout Los Angeles. The ensemble performs a mixture of original compositions by Miller and arrangements of traditional folkloric rhythms. The group has recorded one album for the Universe Soul Records label entitled Introducing Project World Drum.
