Nouveaux Afro is a Black Arts Variety Showcase for the 21st century. The show features artists in the mediums of music, dance, spoken word/poetry, and visual art. Filmed in Los Angeles, the show cast a spotlight on new, emerging, and established artists throughout the African diaspora. 

Featured artists on this episode include the Lula Washington Dance Theatre modern dance company, musical group Universe X & the Apostles of Funk, DJ Novena Carmel, singer-songwriter Mataji Booker Graham, poet Kaelyn Wilson, and the artist known as Aiseborn.
